Flair Airlines is a Canadian airline headquartered in Kelowna, BC with bases in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, and Ontario. Our company operates scheduled domestic passenger services and charters in Canada, USA, and internationally. We are currently seeking a full-time Passenger Movement Coordinator for our office in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Position Overview: Reporting to the Passenger Movement Supervisor, the Passenger Movement Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all customer flight planning related matters in relation to the commercial flight program. This position is relied upon to deliver effective solutions to a host of customer focused tasks. By its very nature customer service oriented work tends to be last minute, constantly changing, and an enjoyable challenge. This role will act as a liaison, provide information, and resolve any emerging problems that clients and passengers might face with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires a high energy self-starter who is a committed business professional with proven experience that is capable of delivering effective and timely results. Working Conditions: The incumbent will be required to work a variable schedule including holidays, weekends, and afternoon and night shifts as the needs of service dictate. The work environment is fast-paced, demanding, and ever changing. Primary Responsibilities: Support the outstation bases and passengers during the day-to-day flight operation. This includes passenger support for reservation issues, managing an irregular operation (IROP) in real-time from a base-perspective, and supporting the base through whatever problems arise; Provide accurate, valid, and complete information to clients and passengers; Process return flight documentation for crew and clients; Maintain highly accurate and well documented customer records; Investigate complaints or deficiencies relating to the services provided to passengers, responding accordingly and promptly, and provide follow up and feedback on issues which arise; Contribute to and help implement operations procedures and policies as directed; Review operations notices on a regular basis and sign that they have been read until changes are included in the Operations Procedures Manual; and Such other duties as assigned by the company from time to time. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: High school or equivalent; Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar role; Basic proficiency in MS Office Suite; particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel; Knowledge and experience using customer service related systems; Ability to work effectively in an open, dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative setting; Effective communication skills, both oral and written; Demonstrated sense of urgency and an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with shifting demands while remaining calm under pressure; Strong organizational and multitasking skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and able to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently; Strong initiative and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues skillfully, appropriately, and in a timely manner; Demonstrated customer service orientation; Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders; Valid First Aid is an asset; ability to pass and obtain a basic First Aid certificate is a requirement; Demonstrated knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR’s); Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of company policies and standards; Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC); Previous Airline Operations Centre or Airport Operations experience is preferred; Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references; and Legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction; How to Apply: Interested applicants should apply online directly to the posting no later than 11:59pm EST on February 18, 2018.
