Clerk A - Part-time Winnipeg Parking Authority Posting No: 116321 Closing Date: April 23, 2018 Job Profile Under the general direction of the Senior Clerk, the Clerk A is responsible for providing effective customer service functions for the department and for ensuring requests from the public are received, recorded, and resolved wherever possible, or forwarded appropriately. The Clerk A is also responsible to provide administrative support for the Operations Division which may include preparation of word or excel documents related to the services. The Clerk A provides support to the Operations Division, as well as other duties consistent with the classification as required. As the Clerk A you will: Respond to customer service inquiries or concerns in a courteous and positive manner. Verify information using various resources, i.e. iView, T2 Flex. Update service request cases in Kana. Reallocate service requests when required. Receive and distribute incoming correspondence. Perform general office filing/records management. Update and maintain various divisional and departmental records in a variety of systems. Perform other duties consistent with the position. Your education and qualifications include: High school graduation Demonstrated experience working in a customer service function. Ability to deal with difficult customers, and the ability to work in a challenging, fast paced environment. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Excel, Word (Basic) and Outlook. Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and react resourcefully under varying and stressful conditions when dealing with the public and staff. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to deal with confidential matters discreetly. Ability to plan and organize work effectively and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate and concise records. Working knowledge of T2 Flex Parking Management Software, within one month, and proficiency in three months. Working knowledge of Parking Citation issuance process within one month of starting. Working knowledge of EPS browser system within one month of starting. Willingness and ability to complete on-line training in Parking Facilities Management (Parking 101 – Certified Parking Facilities Mgt) within 12 months. Must have acceptable attendance record in accordance with the Attendance Management Policy.
