The company: Technosub was founded in 1983 in response to regional demand for pumps and pump components. Thanks to its products, repair service, fast and effective delivery, the company soon became a benchmark in Canada for pumping solutions. Today, more than 148 employees are working for Technosub throughout 9 locations across Canada. The company sells, rents, manufactures and repairs pumps and pump components. Our speciality is the Mining Industry but we are also active in the following sectors; Construction, Environmental, Forestry, Industrial and Municipal Infrastructures.
Technosub is looking for a dynamic and proactive individual to further grow our business in the Winnipeg Area. This individual will be responsible for identifying potential customers, building relationships, and identifying key opportunities for complete dewatering solutions.Â Your experience in external sales, combined with sound knowledge of fluid and hydraulics systems, will allow you to become an integral part of our sales team. The sales representative is working under the authority of the National Sales Manager.
Promotes the company product line;
Identify market opportunities, potential new clients; conducting sales calls including cold calls, while working closely with the Technosub Engineering Department to propose best solutions;
Provide customers with technical advice and solutions based upon product offerings;
Travel to customer locations conducting technical presentations and demonstrations;
Prepare professional quotes and perform follow-up, ensuring Customer questions and concerns are met;
Work in close collaboration with H.O. for account status, invoicing, collection, new accounts;
Supervise the branch office personnel to assure company politics are maintained;
Participate in administrative duties and inventory control when required.Â
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Holds a Bachelor degree / college diploma in mechanical, hydraulic or Related Field;
Minimum 3 years experience of sales in industrial products;
Sales and account management skills;
Knowledge of the local industry sectors, mining, open pits (quarries) and competitive landscape;
Good understanding of marketing strategies and their application;
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
Excellent written and communication skills along with strong people skills;
Possess a valid driver licence with a good driving record;
Be able to work under minimal supervision.
