Working under general supervision, this job contributes to Wawanesa's success by ensuring desktop systems availability throughout the enterprise. The desktop support technician fulfills service requests and resolves technical failures in a customer friendly atmosphere.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Follows pre-defined processes to resolve service requests.
Works quickly to prepare and configure client systems, install software and refresh hardware.
Sets up, replaces and moves client systems and print devices.
Troubleshoots and resolves client side technical issues by gather information and researching fixes.
Works with others (both internally and externally) to complete requests in a productive and courteous manner. Including contacting hardware maintenance vendors.
Updates Incidents promptly, communicates progress and escalates for assistances to ensure efficiency.
